This way to Freedom : The Plan
I have my business plan laid out, and have set myself some pretty tough goals, but I believe in aiming high, and although this plan may seem ambitious I believe that it is achievable and if I can keep to the schedule I should be earning a good income in quite a short time.
I have been researching Niche Blogging and have decided that its certainly a good place to start. So here is a brief outline of the plan.
I will create and upload, from scratch, 2 niche blogs per week for 26 weeks. Each of these niche blogs will have unique post content and each blog will be monetized with 3 revenue sources. Certainly, initially I will not be creating my own products, so I will predominately be promoting affiliate products.
So here is a quick breakdown of what I will be doing.
Well perhaps the most important aspect of each blog will be to actually identify the niche. I will be researching niches to find keywords with a good number of searches (its no use promoting a niche that no one is looking for) but without too much competition (ie I dont want to be competing with millions of other sites). Another consideration when researching a niche is how easy it will be to beat the existing competition in the search engine rankings.
When I find a niche that meets the above criteria (and believe me there are thousands – if not tens of thousands) then i need to make sure that there are some affiliate products I can promote within that niche.
I will be using Wordpress as my blogging platform and in most cases each blog will have its own domain, these will be hosted on my hostgator account.
I will be using a “super adsense theme” for my blog and I intend to just create a simple header for each niche and maybe use different colours, this will enable me to spend as little time as possible on each blog layout whilst giving a common look and feel across all my blogs. (After all I should have 52 blogs uploaded in 26 weeks from now)
The next step will be to install the required wordpress plugins, after which I will be ready to start posting to my blog.
Initially I am going to write 10 blog posts for each blog, these will be automatically uploaded at intervals of 3 or 4 days. Now obviously I will need a lot more posts for my blogs, this will help to keep the blog content fresh in the eyes of the search engine crawlers, so after the initial 10 posts I intend to outsource a further 10 posts (maybe more) for each blog.
I will be doing my level best to try and ensure these posts are SEO optimised to help with traffic from search engines (targeted traffic)
I have a social bookmarking strategy which I will be following for each blog.
I will also be setting up an RSS feed for each blog using feedburner.
I will be writing 2 articles which I will submit using isnare (nice and cheap to start with) to get some backlinks, I will then write a further 2 articles which I will be submitting to EZA.
I am fortunate that I’m not in a regular JOB at the moment and as a family we can just about manage on my wife’s income while I build up my income, so I will be devoting a lot of hours per week to this plan.
So tell me do you think I am on the right track ? Is there anything obvious that I’m doing wrong ? Or anything obvious that I’m missing out ?
